Its time for me again to overhaul my motor, its only done 10000km and the ring are shot, or so i think, its pushing out oil out of my breather filter on the tappet cover. Is it worth it to overhaul the motor or should i buy one from boston jap imports.
Another thing, how much faster is the 2.0 8v motor than the 1.8 8v motor, i see theres not a huge difference in price....
please help

I am trying to be friendly here, but try Technical section instead of FAQ (FAQ gets used for Archived content like how to do a diy center wiper etc etc)
Oil pushing out from breather is normal on 8v and 16v's especially if they get REVVED.
Does your 8v have the splash plate installed - if not, then give GOLDWAGEN a call. :;):
