Fabric protectant

Post by 2226cc »

I need a fabric protectant for the Cross Polo.
I used CarPro Inside to clean the fabric, but I think that probably did more than just clean and removed whatever factory protectants were on there. Things seem to have got a little faded in places.

And also with the stupid rain dripping in onto the door arm rest I have water staining happening on the arm rest and door card material. Easy to clean up though.

I'm narrowing it down to these:

R395 for 473ml
Good old 303.
I've heard it eats some plastics, though.

R189
Tiny bottle, doubt it'll cover much. I love Soft99 products, but they just never seem get restocked once sold out.

R189 for 297g
Scothgard is always a good bet but again a small-ish bottle.

Turns out this is just a silicone product now.

R299 for 1L
Sounds promising. Not sure. A ton of marketing "Made in USA" stuff going on. But reviews seem good.
Abrasion resistance claim is interesting.

R329.95 for 500ml
Trusty Turtle Wax. Longevity?

I was hoping some Optimum products were still around, but unfortunately not.

Anyone using one of these?
Any other recommendations?
