Polo 1.9tdi ATD motor vibrates at idle

Good day
I'm new to the forum.
I got some issues with my polo 1.9tdi ATD motor.
I did a complete clutch change including new DMF. after driving for 2days I noticed vibrations at idle when you stand behind the car when the vibrations happen it sounds like the car has a misfire you can hear it from the exhaust. This is driving me nuts any help and feedback regarding this issue will be highly appreciated.

where are u located?

Im currently in the eastern cape i have scanned it no errors nothing but surprisingly wen the clutch is pressed at idle no vibration or misfire

Hey man, hope everything is going well. I'm having the same issue you did with the same car, it vibrates a lot when idling and when you press the clutch it stops vibrating. Just wondering if you ever solved it, thanks.

The car has new clutch, new oil pump chain and chain tensioner, and new flywheel.

Ok cool thanks for the feedback. Mine is not constantly there, just every now and then. Will have to get it checked out. Just hoping to keep going for a while.... no funds to fix for now.

Exactly the same as mine was an intermittent vibration I learned to live with it Till I had the funds to do it ran it for quiet a long time over a year before I changed it unfortunately sacs kit the DMF don't seem to last so I opted for a LUK after I replace the kit with sacs and the DMF started clapping after just 6monts I replaced with a LUK and it's been fine ever since next replacement km going single mass . Just a question where are you based.

I am in Cape Town.... Parow area to be exact and yourself? I know the previous owner apparently did the clutch a while before I purchased the car but not sure what all exactly was done. Can I ask what the cost was for that as regards parts?

I replace my kit at the beginning of this year kit was R8995 from goldwagen that basically what it cost as I fitted it myself.

Ok cool I see. Sadly I do not work on cars or know much about that. I did the online quote from Goldwagen and it is just over 10k for the kit with flywheel... Sachs make. Little steep for me right now then I would have to still work in labour. Thanks for the info though. I just hope it lasts a little longer without jumping out of the engine lol

No its will carry you the clutch plate will go 1st you will notice a slip. Yes that's the price but I got a workshop account with them so I do qualify for a 30 to 40% discount.

Dual mass flywheels are kak.

Opt for a single mass kit, LMB clutches are much stronger than a std LUK or Sachs, and it's cheaper aswell.

Doesnt cause any vibrations or chatter on 5 speeds.
