From what I've read up on it refers to the throttle body actuator (of die butterfly valve in die intake pyp). The valve itself is suprisingly clean so I opened the cover and what I can see is the teeth on the "half moon", gear seem to be slightly more worn down (sharper) but it's not so that it's obvious, you have to look at it carefully. The thing that bothered me is that there seems to be a small amount of engine oil in it and it seems to have run onto the little circuit board in the cover so I'm thinking that it might have shorted out to an extent The plug is clean and in tact and also the wiring is not damaged. The engine number starts with CAS , not sure if it will help but if it's anything like the Landies, I assume that it's an indication of the engine variant.
I wanted to see if anyone else on the forum has had this issue and if anyone has advice for me before I buy a replacement unit.
