Which tyres are better tyre for your the Golf 5 GTI
Tyre 225/40/18 the Yokohama AR01 A drive or Continental sport contact 5

Out of those Continental SC5 for sure. That tyre recently won the 2015 EVO summer tyre test, very good tyre.

I would probably go for GoodYear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 if you can find for a good price.

Agreed, best overall and rolling resistance is way lower than the SC5
