Hi guys, I have the option of purchasing a good second-hand RNS 315.

I need some info regarding this unit, so if anybody can help me please?

1.is it plug and play in my Golf 5 Gti
2.is it plug and play in my 07' Touran Tdi
3.there is no loaded SD card at the moment for maps - what will it take to get this up and running?

Any other comments regarding the unit will be appreciated.

I THINK minor coding might be required to enable all the features, but tuffy can assist you with that too.

Thanks for the help.

Unit is up and running except for GPS. I have come to the conclusion that there are no pre-loaded maps on this unit (as I was led to believe). Anyone know how I can go about getting SA maps loaded on my unit?? Anybody?

I don't think the RNS315 uses the same system to the RNS510 (SD card vs DVD), so don't think I can help.
Perhaps try http://vagtec.co.za/ and see if they can assist
