DSG motul DCTM oil

Post by mrf101 »

So i had decided to put this oil in and see if its all it was said itd be,

my car had went in to vw to have the oil replaced.

the minute i had recieved the car back i immediately wanted to see if the oil had made a differance to dsg box.

on 1st impression i could feel the shifts were much smoother and the clutch clunking sound has drastically reduced, under WOT there is no kick back of the car while the gears are changing.

all in all this oil is great, much cheaper than what vw want for theres and according to motul does not heat up as much as the vw dsg oil.

Thanx Shaun, Tai for recommending me this oil, and i can honestly say guys with dsg boxes and s-tronic should seriously look at putting this oil in, because if if your oil is cooler, the dual clutch boxes are not under strain and increases the longevity of the box itself.
