As I said in my introduction message, one of the cars I own is a 2005 1.4i Citi Golf.
I have thought of doing a engine swap, but before I do anything I would like to know what I'm getting myself into.
I have got a VW Citi Golf Haynes manual and have done some basic operations on my previous golf (replacing the linkages, fitting a dropped suspension, doing services, replacing the Cam belt and distributor)
So in short, I know how to hold a spanner

I live in Stellenbosch and I have spoken to Adriaan (who works from his home in Jamestown) who does these conversions.
He told me that all I need is a 2E engine, polocup piggyback and 210mm clutch.
Could that really be it?
And is it just as simple as swapping the two motors and sorting out the management?
What parts come off the 1.4i (starter motor, distributor, etc) and what needs to be replaced?
