2+ is on the golf 5's. Golf 6 doesnt go to 2+ but much rather only stage 2

And you don't have to machine the K04 for fitment...it's a straight bolt on!

To DIY takes a whole day so R2000 is a bargain to fit.

By the time I knew how to do it, it took me 3 hours to remove and install a turbo on the mk5. It's a kak job.

Stage 2 as Le Clue mentioned. This should be done is stages as you can appreciate the growth of the car as the power increases.
Doubt many would just go straight to K04?

Its not so bad. Doing K04 on a MKV would have set you back alot more plus it involved alot of labour for fitment.

But if you had to add more cooling in there then it could get abit costly.
I am enjoying stage 2 at the moment but lets see how long this lasts LOL

This is a bargain if you compare it to what I paid last year for this turbo.

Fitment is easy, as its a direct bolt on. A good mechanic could fit it in an afternoon.

Just add in upgraded software and you are good to go.

Hi guys,

I don't mean to raise the dead here, but could someone please reply or alternatively send me a PM that answers the following questions:

1. How much for the price of the kit (currently)?
2. Who would be able to fit this kit in the West Rand / Randburg area of Johannesburg? Possibly Morne?
3. Would I be able to fit this in JHB and safely drive to PTA in order to have my ECU flashed? I don't want to damage my car because it doesn't have the correct software on it.
4. How much would the recommended intake cost? I currently have an ITG maxogen, but from what I've read I'll need a larger intake.

Thanks guys. This is a large investment and needs proper planning if I want to do it right

Speak to IvanB, he'll fit it for you (if you want I'll pm you his number)

Fit it, drive to REVO and then do the Stage 3 file.

Thanks for the feedback gents. Like I said, I'm in the planning stages now. Next year's bonus and my car's 3 year warranty expiration occurs at the same time. So that's when I'll most likely pull the trigger. With projects of this size I just like to do all my homework and know what I'm letting myself in for.
