Hi guys

Thought I would create this post to start listing upcoming events that I am aware of. I will try and keep this list updated all the time, so if you are aware of an upcoming event in the KZN region, regardless of the event type, I'd like you to PM me so I can update this thread.

Furthermore, for each event, I will then create a seperate thread for that specific event in which we can 'chat' about the event itself, make plans, confirm if the VW Club will be involved, or if a bunch of us are just going to have a look see etc etc.

In essence then, this is more of a 'heads up' w.r.t upcoming events, not the details of the event itself - make sense?

Firstly, Welcome bud!!!

In terms of events, I will add to this thread all the upcoming events as they are planned, and will create a separate thread for each event so we can discuss the details there instead of clogging up this thread.

There will be official VW Club events, where paid up members will be eligible for a discounted entry fee.

Then there will be non-VW Club events which we will attend (such as the recent Autostyle show) where entry fee (if applicable) is out of our hands.

Then there will be social type events such as meet and greets etc where we all just hook up to socialize...

Some typical type events are:

Breakfast/lunch runs
Photoshoots
Meet and greets
Track days
Go-karting
etc

If you need any more details on anything specific, drop me a pm.

Kistas Workshop Charity Dyno Day & Breakfast Run
Time: Saturday, November 5 • 9:30am - 12:30pm
Venue:10 Hibiscus Rd, Cllr Moolla Industrial Area, Stanger KZN
In memory of the Founders of Kista Mobile Workshop and well known Motoring Enthusiasts, the late Preason Naidoo and his Dad an epic dyno day is set.

I see there's a trackday on the 22nd @ Roy Hesketh.
I would love to meet with you guys at the track..but just to watch. Won't be running my car on the track....not yet anyways. Just need to know what time you'll be there and if there's any costs in attending?

That would be great.

First off, I am just waiting for Rob to confirm that the track day will proceed as planned on the 22nd - there is a chance it may move to the 29th but I'll keep you all updated.

There is normally a small entry fee for spectators - like R10 or R20 per car.

Other than that, if you just want to watch, come sit with us and you can do just that - we normally do a small convoy run from Durban to the track, and hook up with a few of the PMB guys at the Engen Garage at the New England Road offramp in PMB and then drive through to the track together.

You can then also pay R50, sign an indemnity form and get one of the race drivers to take you around the track - this is an experience not to be missed!!!

I hope we get to see you then....!
