Hey guys...

i have my Gti for over 6 months now and i only noticed recently that we dont have "GTI" sidesills.
i mean c'mon, they go add leather seats,multifunction streering,rain sensor,18" wheels and cruise control as a standard...
but we dont have a thing like sidesills. :crazy:

question is...
is it only my car that doesnt have it? :twisted:

If you talking about the vinyl sill decal with Gti logos,then yeah,total ripoff.I had them fitted at 2k

Nope, none of the GTI's have them....unfortanetely.

I would've loved GTi embroided mats!

heck... even velo's have 'em.

but despite that the mk6 gti is well spec'd. (except for missing bluetooth, which far lesser cars have as standard these days)

Someone on the forum ahs the side sills for sale? i am sure i saw it not very long ago for the G6 GTi?

I totally agree with this, quite a let down actually ! and the module is expensive.

With regards to the side sills and embriodery mats, these are available from TM Tuning (I think), saw them while browsing for my car.

don't remember my underseat drawers being that much, but it was some time back, granted...

Thats ridiculous, even my 08 Polo Gti has Gti side sills and drawers under both front seats! :bang:

dont know what they were smoking during the build...lol

it just kinda takes the "GTi" feeling away.
when i used to get into my Polo GTi...thats one of the first things i see.

i wonder if the newer models have them..

I just ordered some carbon fibre side-sills. Screw the factory oversight. These will look epic :)
