In my opinion 250K for 2 year old with almost half the warranty mileage is too much, if they put new tyres on and say give it for 230k then go for it, but to be honest if you can get hold of a dsg it will be a better buy and in the long run will hold it's value better as most people are going the dsg route and I myself won't go back to manual as long as dsg is around, way better and feels more luxurious and more comfortable to drive, I can't imagine having the highline with sport seats and still having to clutch the bolsters will wear out, on a dsg it's bearable cause you don't have to clutch at all, very rustig and suprisingly powerful when u need it, don't look at the highline go comfortline dsg for 250K just my thoughts

I got my comfortline dsg with all the extras including sunroof, reverse camera, xenons for the same price as a highline standard with no extras and the difference is a piece of chrome on the front lip and 17" dijon rims and 13kw more which a stage 1 software will blow out the water that's it,I dropped 10k and got genuine 18" Austins with tyres off a brand new gti and still cheaper than a highline with extras, not worth the money the highline, ask vw sales people what's the most ordered besides the gti and they will tell u comfortline dsg

Out the box, oh and the fold out factory fitted towbar, absolutely you'll be able to get it for 250K, the highline is a little over priced, send me your email adress tomorrow and I'll put you in contact with someone but only send it in the morning

I opted for the manual Comfortline instead of the DSG as I had issues on my Polo GTI with that same 7-speed gearbox used in the Golf 7. However the DSG technology is amazing and such a pleasure to drive. Some day I will get myself a Golf 7 GTI DSG.

Hi Guys,
My G7 DSG started a shudder in 2nd Gear from around 30000Km. It is now almost 43000KM.
I did not take to garage as back and forth is an issue.
So when it goes for 45000KM service then I will ask them to check out.
It is only happens in 2nd Gear as the car takes off when in 2nd gear

Hi,
I am in the process of buying a golf 7, 2013, 1.4 Highline. Vehicle just came out of the 75 000km service.
There is a tapping noise when the vehicle is stationary and the clutch is released (Noise is probably from the gearbox). When the clutch is in then the noise disappears. This happens all the time when the vehicle is idling. VW suggests that the gear box needs to come out so that they can identify the problem.
From my knowledge, it could be that the springs on the clutch plate is faulty/broken. That would mean replacing the entire gear box components (Clutch plate, pressure plate and bearing).
Have any one of you experienced this problem or has any knowledge of what it could be?
Thanks
Regards
Sandeep
