Starting problems on VW Polo Vivo

Good day. I have a VW Polo Vivo 1.4 which just this morning decided not to start. I recently replaced the battery about a month ago as the battery died after 6 years.

This morning when trying to start it, the engine turns over and keeps churning but the car does not start. Could anyone advise? Need to get the car on the road urgently as it is a daily runner.

I have a video but can’t seem to upload here. To describe in full when I turn the key to the on position I can hear what sounds like the fuel pump priming and then when I turn to start the car the engine turns and keeps churning but does not start, when I release the key from the starting it just switches off. I notice the rev counter moves ever so slightly when trying to start.
