T-roc start / stop failure

Howzit VW fam.

anybody else have issues with the auto start/stop in the T-roc. I'll wait long enough for the oil to be warm, switch off AC and all electronic things. I know the battery is still good but still the auto start/stop doesn't work.

Any help is appreciated.

How do you know the battery is good? An Audi dealership checked my wife's ex Q3 for similar issues and also told her the battery was good. I replaced the battery with a brand new one and voila, Stop/Start worked again as expected. I did have it coded out like I did on my previous Golf and my current Touareg though.

Can also attest to a battery that was causing issues with start stop. Start stop stopped working, a year or so later when battery replaced as car would not start, viola, start stop came back to live.

Another +1 for checking the battery.
Had the same issue with start/stop on my G7 Golf.
New battery resolved the issue immediately.

What you can also do is just disconnect the battery for 20 mins and then reconnect.
Should reset the stop/start.

If you have an intelligent charger, put it on record and AGM and let it charge the battery to full again. See if it works.

I had stop/start on the Merc & the BMW.

The BMW only stopped when battery drain was picked up. The Merc's start/stop stopped working when the residual battery (they have two, the main battery, and the residual one for the start stop and all electronics that need to work during the process) was dying off. Changed it and it was fine again so just check if your has only one battery or perhaps may have a residual one also.
