city golf reverse gear loss 1 x SOLUTION
city golf reverse gear loss: MK4 2002 . Gear go into 1st only and refuse Reverse....1x Simple possible SOLUTION;- The 5mm dia Steel ball under the Gear oil refill Cap comes loose and fall unto the Gear Selector shaft causing a blocking in selecting reverse. USE magnet to remove and Reverse should work.
