MP9 ECU faulty

need advice on my MP9 decoded ECU, i have not tested it was decoded, IM using it as an extra one for incase my one packs up

the problem that have now, it work after it was decoded it started the car and everything was fine, but after that the it does not work and there is a sound coming from the distributor,

few weeks went by and all work fine again and than the same thing happen again

what can be the problem

when its making that noise I cant read it on vcds
