VWCSA - Endurance karting at VKC ADDITIONAL DAY

With lockdown regulations, it became apparent that this year's Hillclimb would be tough to plan and host, but we had no idea how much red tape this years committee would have to go through to make the Hillclimb happen, not to mention all the additional costs. With that being said we have decided to host a fan favourite event. One that the whole family can enjoy!

Endurance karting at VKC

We invite you and your friends and family to a full day of Le-mans style karting, about 7 hours worth! Each kart will be assigned to a team and each team will consist of a minimum 4 and maximum 5 people. Each person in a team of 4 would get +- 105 minutes or 1 hour 45 minutes worth of carting, and each person in a team of 5 would get +- 85 minutes or 1 hour 25 minutes. Food and refreshments will be available on the day by our friends at VKC. Please note no food or refreshments are allowed into the circuit.

R3000 covers your kart for the entire day.
We have 8 karts pre-booked. All participants must wear long sleeve shirts, long pants and closed shoes. If you have your own helmet, please bring it along, for those that don't, VKC can accommodate.

Date: 31 October 2020 AND 1st November 202
Time: 8:00am sharp (We will do a convoy to the track a little earlier for those keen)

DM me your karting teams name, (poledancers, slow-pokes, baldies) are all acceptable, make payment to the club account with the following reference:

We have had an overwhelming responce to the full day karting event on the 31st Oct, we have decided to host the exact same event, the very next day, the 1st of November 2020

What's the chances of being able to arrange our own braai there? I believe we could buy the meat from the venue and bring our coal etc....not sure if we can this time around again

Hi everyone

Just to confirm, food and beverages will be sold on the day by the trackside restaurant. Please note NO FOOD OR DRINKS OF ANYKIND WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE PREMISES.

Braai’s and braai packs will be on sale on the day at a cost of R85 per person. This includes the braai rental, a 3 piece braai pack as well as various salads and potato bake. If you would like to purchase braai packs, please make sure to let me know latest Wednesday the 28th October as these packs need to be pre ordered. Also, if you have special requirements please do let me know so we can do our best to accommodate you.

All other food and beverages will be available on the day by the trackside restaurant.

Please pm me to secure your pack, also please take note as to which day teams will be karting. We cannot accommodate a team arriving on the incorrect day as there are only 8 karts per day.
