I need experts help

:bang: hi everyone i have a jetta 2 hv 1800 with dicktator std i loaded the startup map and tried to crank her up but no spark but when i turn to tdc and check nr 1 plug when i turn key on it gives a spark but when cranking there is nothing :crazy: please could any one be so kind in advising me? Apologies if this has been covered.

Are you seeing atleast 250 rpm when you crank the motor? If you do not see rpm, check the wiring from distributor to Dicktator. Centre wire from distributor gets connected to pin 1 trigger input on Dicktator. The ignition output on pin 4 from Dicktator is then wired to the TP100 pin6.

Ask moderators to move this post from ICE related to vehicle related section.

For the startup map, set the trigger angle to 43 degrees and distributor to zero/tdc for no:1 cylinder.
