So you will have to buy the additional USB cable to compliment the iPod one supplied with the MDI MEDIA-IN. I rather use the SD card for my music and the iPod cable with Lightning converter to charge my iPhone 5 or play music off it if a song is missing from my SD card. Playing music directly off a phone using Bluetooth also works lekka.
You mean that the USB port is standard? Wish i knew that beforehand.

R900.00 that I really didn't need to spend?
Although, i really don't see the point in that as one could simply use the USB port for their i-devices and other non apple devices.
Is there anyone on here that did not opt for the MDI in?
Bluetooth streaming is great but i cannot access a track listing (media library) on the head unit.
