Sunday's event at Autotrix was awesome. Very well organised.

I put my Roc on the rollers and it did 274kw on the first run - with my settings on low.

Decided to crank it up for the second run, but I forgot that I needed to raise the upper boost setting on the eBoost, so as soon as the boost hit 1.8 bar it brought everything to an abrupt halt. FAIl. But it made 288wkw up until that point and was just picking up steam when the controller shut it down LOL

But still - it was a decent figure - which I'll hopefully push up to around 320 on pump fuel this weekend. I'll set up the controller properly this time- not act like a novice on the dyno.

You better sort it out at only 274kw you'll get smashed by a 1.9 diesel

LOL

True

But it's just a case of picking up the upper limit on the boost controller above 1,8 bar. So it was making 274 at 1.65bar and then 288 at 1.8bar before the limiter kicked in. No reason why it can't see 320+ on pump fuel with a raised limit.

Engine and turbo is not the issue, I'm just not keen on boosting hard cos that will raise torque which will be bad news for the clutches. Until I get my upgraded clutches then I will be content with around 300 on pump fuel and stock timing - as a daily drive. You'd have to boost the crap out of a K04 with mad timing to get close to that figure.

Car is epic on the top.

Next on the list: brakes and clutches.

Always something LOL

IMHO, I think the strongest diesel title would go Carapau (Ricardo) Big Turbo RK Tuned Ibiza Cupra 1.9TDI.... That thing is mental

how do yo boost so high on pump gas? do you use additives, on the last dyno at rally, i did 180on the wheels at 1 bar, at 1.6 - 1.8 should do about 270wkw, but need a nice mix, to boost that.

Hmm.

I use actual pump fuel. I have a GT30 so it can boost 3.5 bar if I wanted it to. 1.7 bar boost is nothing really. Don't need octane boosters as it is running 8 degrees timing advance. We can go to a petrol station and fill up pump fuel and then go straight to the dyno if u doubt me Mr. Balls...
