Scirocco Owners: Coilover Question?

Post by DRE187 »

Hi guys

Please can I get some insight on ride quality between the JOM and V-Maxx Coilover systems?
Which do you prefer, and why?

Thanks in advance

He had JOM's at their lowest setting and they did not go lowe enough for him, I was with Leclue when he had his bilstein coiloves installed. They went lower in the rear than the JOM's and gave him a better ride. But that said the BIlstein coilovers are 3 times the price of JOM.

This is the issue.
Was the Bilstein ride 3 x better?
Height isn't an issue, as they(JOM/VMAXX) can probably get down 60mm, which is sufficient for the back.

According to Leclue he has less clicking noises on full lock and the ride is better yes. Jom is more or less R4500 and Bilstein is R12 000. It's like comparing a corolla to a c-class, both transport you to work, the one just does it more comfortable than the other.

Thanks man! Go for the JOM, it seems like it would meet your requirements.
