Hi NF guys,
I, like most people have heard tons of stories at race meet about this boosters...I have aa BWA G5 GTi with DP and REVO2 software.
I read somewhere that 102.6 Octane is no longer available?
So if I'm running normal 95 in my car daily...something like an NF ULTRA would be the same as a tank of 102.6 Race Feul?
Would you reccomend using this Ultra only on Race days or anytime, i.e long distance, town driving etc etc?
I travel to the karoo frequently as my family lives there...there is only 1 (ONE) Shell garage that stocks 95 Octane...so you can imagine its 93 all the way...this dec I only filled 93 in R50 increments untill they could stock 95 again...so in cases like this...would this octane booster be handy to have say in your boot for when the garage runs out of 95?
What's the bad side of this equation...yes its give performance and ups the RON rating...but what's the bad side of Ultra spacifically?Plugs/coils/petrol pumps etc?
Cheers
Lance

Re: Some Questions?
For race days you can use 40L of 95 plus a full tin of nf ultra.
These will give you about 102 + octane u wont pick up any knocking or pinging and the car can be tuned more agressive.
For daily driving nf black. Funny enough with the blue and black there is only a 1 ron (claimed) difference but i still picked up the car pulls timing and knock on blue on black it doesnt.
So for spirited everyday driving use a bottle of nf race.
For race days or if you wana have fun nf ultra. (bare in mind it will be better to tune for ultra or you will pretty much waste it.)
Hope the owners dont mind me chirping in here i just have been using and testing nf for a long time now.
Still a most awesome product.

102.6 was a leaded fuel which was discontinued when lead was banned from use in all SA fuels on 1 January 2007. NF Ultra is the perfect substitute for 102.6 when mixed in 40 litres of 95 unleaded pump fuel. It has the added advantage that it contains no lead so is safe for catalytic convertors, lambda sensors etc. NF Ultra is safe to use in every tank.
The NF Street (Red/3 RON) is the perfect product to use for trips through the Karoo. When added to 50 litres of 93 it will give you 96 octane. NF Octane Boosters are non-flammable so it's safe to keep a few in your boot for long trips. They also are designed to fit into the fuel filler so there is no spillage and come with a child proof lid. Safe, easy and convenient.

Re: Some Questions?
Thanks for the replies guys...
So, for drag racing...NF Ultra on a 40l tank...does the tank have to be completely empty before putting in 40l and then a bottle of NF Ultra?
For trips to Karoo like in 3 weeks...NF street in a full tank i.e 1 bottle per full tank.
For normal 95 everywhere while wanting to drive fastish...1 bottle NF SPORT in full tank?
Dankie
