2005 Citi Golf Rear Light Replacement

Greetings
I have a 2005 Citi Golf (New dashboard and old tail lights), and I am wanting to upgrade my old tail lights with the newer Velocity (hotplate) style lights. Does anyone know if this would be a straight swap with wiring and fitment etc or would I need to modify the plugs and the fitment on the body?

Lights will be a direct fit onto your body but the wiring will need to be modified or you would need the wiring adapter

Most aftermarket lamps will have the adaptor included.
