Howsit guys,
I drive a 07 Velociti 1.4i, I also have the following upgrades : branch, exhaust, cam, flowed throttle, cold air induction. I'm in the process of choosing tyres to fit on. I'm looking for something that's good for daily but that's also good for racing. I'm leaning towards a set of Bridgestone my01. Any reviews on it in this application or any suggestions??
Thanks

Re: New tyres for my Velociti
Had MY01 on 2 of my previous vehicles, it is a tyre I like a lot. Grip is decent and also does not wear too quickly. If you want something stickier then Yokohama makes some decent tyres as well.MichaaeelMk1 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 11:11 pm Howsit guys,

Re: New tyres for my Velociti
The MY01 is decent for it's price but feel it's just an "ok" budget tyre - With it being a directional tyre , it's good in wet and straight line grip , bad would the road noise that comes with it being a directional tyre as the rubber ages.
personally I prefer Asymmetrical tyres - It's good all round , in corners , in wet, low road noises and resistance, can rotate to any side of the car, even the steering wheel will feel lighter when turning.
