Wolf oil from Goldwagen

Post by Gbvl »

Anyone used the Wolf oil from Goldwagen yet? I’m looking for VW 507.00 oil and this was one of the very few options I could find.

Did a google check and see GW is the official distributor and Wolf is based in Belgium and prides themselves on being a independent blending specialist with ties to WRC as well.

Thanks

Ok so seems no-one here used Wolf before. I'll give it a go then, reviews from Europe seems favourable enough

Would also like to know. Looks like a good product but would appreciate another opinion before I try it out.

I am using it currently in the VR6T and I'm due to change the oil (do it every 5000km's)
So far i have noticed nothing different from the Shell i normally use, oil temps the same, no funny noises etc. no top ups of oil.

I also did my last oil change with the 507 spec oil and will give feedback later. So far average fuel consumption, noise levels and oil and water temps (checked with obdeleven) all the same. Car is now 165k and changing oil every 10k and not 15k

If it meets the spec you won't have issues

As long as the specs on the container reads VW 507 and Fully Synthetic approved you and your ride will be fine.
