Audi armrest

Post by ahoudet »

Hi all,

Any pointers as to where I can pick up an armrest for a 2007 A3 8P?

Pic attached for reference.Image

The hinges in my Jetta TDi broke due to leaning on the armrest everytime I got into the car.

I found a chap who repaired plastic bumpers, who was prepared to try and repair it. Up to today, more than 10 years later, the hinges are still intact, and admittedly, the armrest is in the up position most of the time driving in town and only used once on the open road.

Unfortunately I bought the car with the armrest already broken, along with the pieces missing so I won't be able to fix it.

I'll probably go the eBay route if I can't get one for a fair price locally.

Those armrests were pretty common between all Volkswagen and Audi cars, so fortunately its not range bound.

I'm not sure where you are based, but there are a few breakers yards in Johannesburg and Pretoria that could assist. That would be my first option before looking online.
