Hi guys if anyone can advise or had the same problem
Felt my gears got harder to shift and i decided to fill the gear box oil first. I noticed the oil drain out as i filled onve i checked for the reason i saw it dripping and cant seem to see why or what the reason might be.
Its at the bottom of the housing .
Ffz gearbox and the motor is ADY 2lt 8v

Thers a seal where the linkage goes in the tunnel on top wheres theres a big nut check the linkage at the back of that the seal cud be damaged or best wash it off 1st to see

I've checked that i found it dripping at the very bottom of the housing

Did you fill oil at the correct point? I.e at the fill up point on the side of the gearbox

Filled at the bottom side of the box.. used a 17mm bolt to open that nut like an Allan key

Possibly over filling the gearbox with oil.

Bottom or the side? There is another 17mm allen bolt where you fill it. The one at the bottom is for draining the oil

I accidentally threw gear oil into the wrong hole yesterday, the one where there's like a cap covering it. Sits right next to the hole where you have to throw the gearbox oil in. Car isn't idling very well.
