Did you fill oil at the correct point? I.e at the fill up point on the side of the gearbox

Filled at the bottom side of the box.. used a 17mm bolt to open that nut like an Allan key

Possibly over filling the gearbox with oil.
Rather get it to a reliable mech to investigate

Bottom or the side? There is another 17mm allen bolt where you fill it. The one at the bottom is for draining the oil

I accidentally threw gear oil into the wrong hole yesterday, the one where there's like a cap covering it. Sits right next to the hole where you have to throw the gearbox oil in. Car isn't idling very well.
