9n Polo Bah Replace Thermostat Housing

Post by Zaleeu »

Hi ,

Basically the top pipe from the engine to the heater broke off.
The metal where the pipe connects to the engine -decayed/corroded whatever you want to call it- and broke off.
Normally this is a flange ?

I cant seem to find the flange bolts for this particular pipe.
Since it only seems to feed the heater I suppose I can try to plug it .

Sorry seems the image is not pulling in .
Basically its the top heater feeder pipe coming from the engine block.

What must I take off where to fix this ?
Is it a multiple branch flange ?

Anybody have any advice ?

Oh man ... why do they insist on using these stupid hose clamps. Seems I need a Jaw Band Hose Clip Plier for it .
