Geabox Oil leak

Hey guys

So im trying to help out a mate mine

I only got to check out the issue when it was already dark. Will probably only get a proper chance this weekend as i do arrive late.

But thought id do some research on this leak on the geabox of the car its a Polo 9n3(Blm motor) the leak seems to be coming from above the gearbox its clear in color...im thinking could be gearbox oil from a worn seal but just need to make sire

Anyone know what it could be....

Where is this cylinder located and does it require for the entire replacement of the cylinde? Or just some seals?

ALL your pictures has the slave cylinder centered right in it. there is a metal hose attached to a piece of flexible hose then onto metal hose again that clips into the slave. it is slightly hidden by the battery tray in the picture.
I cannot answer your question on what it needs but these days you don't even get seals for them. you just buy the whole thing complete.
