Missfiring

Post by Teeh17 »

Hi guys, we recently to a car to a mechanic to do a cylinder head gasket and we also replaced a chain set. It was also due for a service so we changed oil, oil filter and spark plugs. We also replaced cv joints because we reported that the steering has vibrations at 80 km/h+.

After this work, vibrations are still there and now a car is misfiring a bit. A mechanic thought that it might be caused by the plugs that we bought( that came with a service kit). We went back to buy the correct ones for this car( NGK-R) and the problem is still there.

Does anyone know what might be wrong?

The car is a 2012 vw polo 1.6i.

Coil pack possibly. Maybe change your mechanic too.
