Auto watch 211 hi anti hijack

Post by Neeroshb »

Good day dear vw guys.

Please help. I got the auto watch 211 immobiliser system in my citi golf and it doesn't want to deactivate. I say deactivate because this morning when I was supposed to press the hidden button for the anti hijack as I had just started the car it didn't register. It kept hooting for me to press the button until it cut the fuel off.

I have disconnected battery and tried again no solution l. Even holding the hidden button and the key in place with ignition on or off doesn't do anything.

Please help as this is my daily ride and I'm stranded for transport to work.

Much appreciated in advance.

I could be wrong but it sounds like a dry joint on the hidden switch, are you able to take it out and inspect it by any chance?

It's a momentary push to make contact switch. Cut the wire off short from the switch, strip the ends and touch them together for a moment. If it beeps / reacts like you pushed the button then the switch is broken. Get a new one and solder it to the wires where you cut it off.

Hi guys. Found out the wires broke on the switch. Re soldered them onto correct points. Now does anybody know how the over ride sequence goes. Cause at the moment I have it flashing constant pace and a tapping sound cuming from the control box.

Thanks again guys for the help
