Whining and Grinding sounds

Hi Guys,
I'm guessing the answers to my questions but please correct me if I'm wrong.
I appreciate the feedback.

Sounds like a whining sound coming from the petrol tank when accelerating over 3000 RPM, yet at start up and idle, it's completely normal.
This could be a symptom of a failing fuel pump?

When turning sharply. IE, Parallel parking. The vehicle makes a groaning sound (As though it's complaining).
This could be wheel bearings?

Oh, when is the service intervals for Cam BELT replacement?

change cam belt at 90k km.

So I'd presume the next change should be around 160,000km as my car is currently on 123,000km

Wel only if it WAS changed at 90. But it it is a car you bought not knowing it's history change it now.

The car was sold to me after it's last service by VW at 105,000km.

Well let them check on it's service history if the belt was changed. No use hoping it was done and it breaks.
