Hi Guys
Is it fine to drive my crossflow 8v on itb in rainy weather conditions? Just curious on this one, as I’ve never taken a chance in heavy rain.
Don’t want to damage my motor or is it not safe driving the car in rainy weather.

Re: Rain vs Crossflow itbs
Howzit bud, i have a 2l 16v ABF on ITB's i drive it in the rain without any issues.
Running it in a Caddy mk1 and i have a bonnet scoop.
i just make sure my filters are on.

Re: Rain vs Crossflow itbs
This is very important, the only time I removed the filters on my Ex ITB'd Caddy was on the track.

Re: Rain vs Crossflow itbs
Also maybe dont drive like a knob in the rain and drive slowly through standing water. Watch out for bigger cars coming from the front as sometimes they speed through water puddles and that throws massive amounts of water towards your grille/bonnet
