I would like to do a turbo conversion on my 2008 citi storm 1 4i, what do I need to make it happen and prices that would be related to it. Advise welcome, thank you in advance guys ... I would just like to keep it at around 115kw. Then i will be happy

Ja the 1.4i turbo will not be worth it buddy. Rather buy a motor that is turbo from the factory? Like the 1.8 20T?
Or just plant a ABF 16v motor in, got great power from standard.

etc. Better to just buy a turbo car. I could've either turbo'd my Corsa or bought a turbo car. Glad I bought a turbo car.

Modding is a journey, and learning to turbocharge a 1.4i is a hell of a lot more fun and interesting than a 2L swap or selling to buy a turbo car.

Is it a good idea? No, definitely not. Especially not on a daily. But if you can afford it and afford for the car to stand every now and then it will be a ton of fun to figure out how everything works together.

I say go for it, start reading up on what is needed and collecting parts as well. You will need some custom piping on the downpipe but everything else can pretty much bolt on.

Yeah look, I'm not saying it wouldn't be awesome. It would be epic, but as a daily it won't make sense.

If I could've bought the Audi and kept the Corsa to turbo it, I would've done it in a heartbeat. And definitely way more fun than a 2l swap.

I've had many n/a toys but my next project will also be turbocharging my Storm. I've got most of the stuff already - bought a complete turbo conversion off a Caddy. I am increasing the capacity though from 1.4 to 1.9 using a 1.8 crank and 2.0 pistons.

It' an absolute pain in the behind to turbo charge u-flow motors in a citi shell. Space it a total pain.
Have done it a few times, will never again.

We are doing a booster delete and bringing the turbo out above the gearbox so space shouldn't be an issue.

Yeah thatbis about the only way. Putting the turbo under the intake manifold just does not work.
