Hi Guys (and other)

Thanks for all the help.
Got the toolkit from Adendorff. Lots of toys in that shop. When I have more time will go back and peruse :)

Anyway, dont think once you have the toolkit that you are out of the woods.

It turned out ( no pun intended) that the caliper had extended to maximum, nearly hitting the disc.
So I still had to turn the caliper in by hand. There was just no way to fit the "collar" of the kit
because there was not enough space between the housing and the caliper.

So lots of cursing and about an hour later I manged to move the caliper deep enough so the collar could be fitted.
With the collar on it was a breeze and the kit worked well.

One wheel done and will tackle the rest tonight. The I have to bleed the system again because if you start the car the
brake pedal goes to the floor and lots of red lights and buzzers going off.

Take the parts back with the original invoice and Bobs your aunty.

I did the rear brakes a second time on that car with an angle grinder locking tool and a g-clamp,turn the angle grinder bit as you tighten the g-clamp. Easy peasey, lemon squeezy :hi:

Juts use long nose pliers, push and turn at the same time. Direction of turn is important. Check above for correct direction. You will have to push very very hard. But once it turns and goes in a little bit it should get easier. When I did my audi I had a big blister. If you can but the tool then go that route.
