It's unbelievable-SAC

Post by Manelo »

This morning i took my ride to SAC for a power test run. After about 5 minutes the guys come back and tell me that they cant help me any more because i only do power test with them without letting them fix my car. They claim it costs them more to do the power test alone.Jaaaa!!!!talk about bad luck on Wednesday.

...or Kyalami Branch.

SACS dyno must run on gold dust if it's too expensive to do a simple power run...

Crunts charged me R250 for a dyno graph back in the day.

But it was worth it to see their faces.

A cupra must make big numbers on that dyno. Even my 2l 8v made 245 nm on that dyno.. Yeah I meant Kyalami - it's midrand area isn't it

Nelspruit - shame - they are probably not sure how to operate the dyno so they had to give you some excuse. It costs 5 minutes worth of somebodies time + 1 sheet of paper + the electricity to operte the computer(which probably stands on all day anyway) to do a dyno power run. Idiots.

Yah, 460Nm. (that graph I posted the other day)...
The guy gave me the graph shaking his head saying "jirre, even our polo isn't as strong as this". Well duh.

They are fully owned Franchises. The head office don't care what the other 'branches' does as long as they pay their franchise money at the end of the month...

Just a few things:
a. A dyno costs lots to install and you have the wear and tear to keep it running (R100k plus for new)
b. They have to cost the time it takes to do a power run, including strap down, operator and all that.

You can not do a power run for free, simple. Most places charge R250 for a power run.

Lol, so then why didn't they charge the guy the R250 and be done with it?
Why spin a story about how they cannot do a run with out first doing work on the car due to the cost of running the dyno?

Dunno, need to ask them that. I am just stating, you can not do for free. Did the guy ask them for a power run and how much it will cost?
