550cc injectors on AGU stock K03 turbo

Post by Zoltan2222 »

Hi all

This might be a bit late as I think my mind is made up, but maybe someone shares something before I get these tomorrow or early next week.

My current injectors max out at 161hp (bosch 0 280 150 464) after some reading it seems that it does sometime happen.

Thus I wanted to upgrade to bosch green giants 440cc (0 280 155 968) which is a very popular injector with a good rep.
But theses injectors are EV6 body (not plug, bosch injectors have EV numbers for both the plug and body, very confusing).
The EV6 injector is just to thick to fit into the AGU manifold and the newer inserts in the manifold also does not fit the AGU manifold.
So going this route is possible but with lots of work, but now I have read that the newer 550cc (0 280 158 117) which is a EV14 body with EV6 plug will fit into the AGU manifold as the injector is narrower then the EV6, both the EV6 and EV14 will require a extension tough.
So it seems the EV14 will have less issues to fit and also much newer tech and higher CC, maybe even cheaper.
I also read that the spray pattern of the green giants are not healthy for the 20V engines.

I would like some inputs on this please.
First off all, I am concerned that the 550cc will be to big for idle, low RPM/boost and maybe start???

If anyone has done this upgrade please share your experience.

The ev14 550s on the work great. When dialed in properly they idle like stock. Are you running the stock me3 ecu? Just make sure you can adjust the map and install at the same time, I doubt the car would be driveable on the standard injector values.

But those are huge for a stock k03, any big turbo plans for the future?

I am running Dicktator ecu, and yes the idea is to make sure the injectors fit and do all the mods needed, then fit back the old EV1s drive to the tuner and then fit the the EV14 to remap.

Well, I do not see myself investing more in this project, but the bug might bite harder and then yes, bigger turbo

Ev14 is the one to use, some modification is required to make them fit and Will need to be scaled In once fitted, if done properly Will idle like stock , the 550s should be good till +-250kw ATF
