EPC Engine Fault

Hi everyone

i have a Golf 6 TSI and it recently it has started to show engine fault EPC light, when that happens it also loses power, please assist with advise.Should i be worried or is this fixable

You need to get the car scanned for error codes to narrow the possible issues.

i have 6 Gti, had the same issue with the EPC light coming on and loss of power, VW changed an engine speed sensor..........

but obiviously get it scanned first..

there can be 100's of possible reasons for EPC light and loss of power. Anything you have experienced on one car might be a total guess on another and completely miss the target. Without a scan where it shows you what it recorded any answer is simply a guess.
