ImageYea but I probably have to learn somehow... I hope you could help me. I know theres plenty to it but on turbo size? At wich A/R hot side size would i look at for a 2 l? Would A/R. 82 be to big?

What is your goal? I know you said 300kw, but???
Drag car?
Daily that can kick butt robot to robot?
Quarter mile ripper?
1km sprint ripper?

In short:::
Bigger A/R more turbo lag and flow more exhaust gas at high rpm.
Lower A/R less turbo lag lower in rpm range, but sacrifice top end power.

Tbought I would be happy with a strong street golf but seems im going a bit of course with that ideaImage. I want a setup that would tear up the 1/4 mile strip. Looking at doing good times. Would a 2l have enough to spool up a 82 housing? I know there would be some lag but if I install the rev kit I could manage to keep it in the power range or am I wrong?

Still depends on what turbine you want to use in there as well.

Really think you need to narrow down what you want out of this buld or just build something and refine it from there.

Agree with Killerwatt.

Think you should then rather consider a setup with .48 t3 hot side in the turbo range of a gt28 (disco potato) or gt30 (gt3071) turbo group that could fit in on your possible performance expected goal.

Thanks for all the replys I appreciate it. Like I said im not a mechanic but would like to build it on my own. So I really appreciate all the info I can get. Sounds rather good what you suggest. If I could get it going and work from there I could know whats needed where. Thanks again for the replys
