Mk6 gti cams to fit mk5 gti?

Hi all,new to the forum,been having issue with my mk5 gti,fuel cut outs etc....my mechanic advised me that the cam is worn out due the follower not being replaced,just bought the car and new to the gti world,now i have to replace cam and hpfp,any ideas if a good second hand mk6 gti cam will work,my car is the bwa engine code

Only golf 6 R cams will fit. cdl engine code. CCZ CDN etc that should be in golf6 has cahins on the other side. Completely different layout and totally different cams. So the short answer is no.
