Mk5 GTI Power Loss
HELP NEEDED.
Any ideas on me mk5 golf gti .
Changed
Coil
Accel pedal
Throttle body
Fault codes
P0222 - Throttle angle sensor
P0123 - throttle position sensor to high
P02122 - accel position sensor to low
P0642 - sensor ref voltage A to low
P0698 - sensor ref voltage to low
It’s ok if I don’t boost it. Once I kick over 3000 revs especially in 3rd / 4thgear it either goes into limp mode, EPC-Enginemanagment and traction control lights come on and I lose power but still drive it OR completely packs in EPC and traction light but no revs undrivable. All I do is disconnect battery then it’s fine
Please can any1 Advise. I unplugged the MAP Sensor and it was ok for a while, Ran better but its started cutting out again.. Im at my wits end

Re: Mk5 GTI Power Loss
Have you tried changing the pedal?
The control circuit fried means you need a new ecu. Just make sure the plug that goes into the throttle body is in good condition.

Re: Mk5 GTI Power Loss
Then you have either a wiring issue or ECU.
