Touareg 3.6 V6 FSI common issues

Came across a 2011 3.6 FSI V6 Touareg with low km’s (mid 80k if I remember correctly) for sale for quite a bit less than the similar spec TDI models. The car seems to be in great condition and had 1 owner from new and full agent service history. I have not seen a lot of them around and assume the 3.0 TDI V6 was the better and more popular option but any other issues with these models/engines? I assume the fuel consumption might have been a contributing factor in the low mileage?

it's the same basic engine as R36 golf. If you can find anything common issues about those it will be the same for touareg.
Sorry I can't help - I have never even seen one never mind work or driven one.
