149,000kms...
I own a 2017 Highline DSG. No issues with the motor thus far. The clockspring in the steering did break, but that was covered by VW - apparently not a common fault. Other than that its a fun little car

Re: Polo 6c Tsi Common issues
There are plenty of them around, i would shop around for a lower mileage one...
Your resale is always going to be better and easier with lower mileage on a car as common as a polo.
I had one, and would buy one again. Awesome cars, and quite nippy for what it is.

Re: Polo 6c Tsi Common issues
Those dry clutch dsg gearboxes are not the most reliable around. Had it 1 for a year, hardly drove it hard & 40k km later, the box was in shambles. Box overheating, not disengaging the clutch, clunky shifts, etc.Wolfburger wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 12:59 pm Hey guys looking at purchasing a Polo 6c tsi came across one that does not look bad, scheduled viewing later in the week with the dealer but is there any common issues with these TSI motors i should look for, The car currently has 149000kms and a 2015.

Re: Polo 6c Tsi Common issues
Not sure if you proceeded with your purchase but just consider this issue:
https://www.vwclub.co.za/forum/viewtopi ... 4&t=216654
Other than the above, we haven't experienced any issues with the car. Its a 2016 Model (manual) with 54K km currently. Its an absolute beauty. I don't find them sluggish at all either. Also extremely fuel efficient.
