2013 VW Golf 7 - Gulping oil

Morning Guys, I hope I will be able to get some assistance.
My Golf 7 is now on 165 000 km and is using 1 liter of oil every 700 - 800 km.
There is smoke after I have decelerated on a down hill and accelerate again on the up hill.
There is no oil leak.
Where do I start Problem solving?
Everyone wants to charge me to remove the head to see what the problem is.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

Just to chime in, that's a common problem. Sold mine last year with similar symptoms as yours. It was on 170k+ km, 2013 Model. Car was driving fine but smoking when accelarating and oil consumption was just ridiculous.

But to reiterate its a common issue and VW knows about it.

I don't know where you based, but I can give you the contact I got from a VW technician of a mechanic based in Roodepoort and has been dealing with number of MK7 with a similar issue
