Howsit Gents,
A quick one. I was about to replace my MAP sensor and noticed that its a 4 pin sensor but I have only 3 wires going to it. The reason for the question is that its stuck on with glue so wondering if its the original and if its meant to be like that. I 'want to pull it out if its a cut and paste job. Apparently the wiring is like this:
1 - brown/blue - common sensor earth to ECU pin 108
2 - n/a (Is there nothing on pin 2?)
3 - purple/green - ecu pin 98 (also goes to cam sensor pin 1)
4 - purple/grey - ecu pin 101
Thanks Ya'll

I am confused though, on

and

It seems to indicate that 2 is blank. Only 1, 3 and 4?

Ok then they are not using the temp sender that is built into it.

Re: 1.8T AUQ Map sensor wiring - Ressolved
Confirmed that on the AUQ it only requires 3 wires as shown below
1 - brown/blue - common sensor earth to ECU pin 108
2 - n/a (Is there nothing on pin 2?)
3 - purple/green - ecu pin 98 (also goes to cam sensor pin 1)
4 - purple/grey - ecu pin 101
This has been resolved.
