Cool thanks :)

Some frikkie saw my signature on this forum, contacted me 15 minutes ago and told me he heard I am looking for one and has a brand new one for R350. This is from China I can imagine and not the right thing.

I want a decent pump you don't want to run lean on a 1.2 bar boost KKK setup.

Do you have the part number on that. According to Diesel Electric the 044 is more than double the price you quoted..

i purchased the 040 intank - 0 580 254 040

When i enquired the salesman said it was a marginal difference in price for the 044 in line pump

Going to skip swirl tank and use 2 in line 044 pumps directly sommer y fitting. 1 should be enough for what I need but if 1 fails at least the other will work.

Thread revive...

Busy with the fueling setup on the Jetta and need to upgrade the entire system to run eth. due to high CR. I'm looking at fitting an 044 in line, but also need the in tank version of it. Will the 040 accommodate ethanol setup or what other options could I make use of?

Basically need low feed to fill surge tank and could run the 044 in line from there.
