I put the Eibach spring from VW, as well as the rep R35 17" and it's better then the standard ride in terms of stability and it's not at all bumpy

Hi Guys

Anyone know of any other springs for my polo 1.2 TSI? thinking of other options. want to drop it but dont want to lose the warranty, i dont have a Maintenance plan on the car so not worried about that. Also not to sure if the ride would be less smooth after the drop. any ideas?

From what I have read the kit needs to be fitted at vw. Best would be to confirm with your service advisor.

Let's make it clear your service/maintenance plans, have nothing to do with mods , only warranty affected , all the parts that are stock will be replaced at services accordingly

The car got a Polo GTI look, also adding the rim makes takes from a sensible economical car to a flashy sporty one...
I've just checked and indeed they got these on stock. Your warranty not affected really? Is that on paper? That's not what I was told.

you need to check with your insurance company but I have never heard of an insurance company having an issue with a lowering kit.

After reading this thread last year i went to VW Strijdom Park and had the fitment done onto my 1.2TSI, really happy with it, i'm considering changing my OEM shocks, but i'll be sticking with my 15" rims

I have had the VW Eibach springs on my 1.6 Comfortline 6R since 2014 todate with no issues whatsoever. For those who just want theirs polos a little lower, I would recommend them.
