Do it right. whats nice with a chip....its easily removable. it does no perminent changes to your ECU. just piggybacks on it.

Its proven that sw works far better than a UniChip on these vehicles.

And it can be removed in under 20minutes.
And no need to cut into your beautiful std harness and risk a short or burn out due to an improper connection or something coming loose

I've owned a mk5 & 6 GTI and now a Roc....all 3 were/are 2.0T cars with revo and not one of them ever had any issues because of it. My mk5 & 6 ran quite aggro revo settings and were driven pretty hard at times without fault. Revo is the biggest software company in the world with huge dealership networks on every continent, right now there is someone in Los Angeles, Sydney, Berlin, London, Sao Paolo, Cape Town driving around with the same map as on my car. You should sometimes take the opinion of some local Gert or Prakash who works out of a small garage with a pinch of salt.

Ive had two 2.0tsi. One with STO stage 1 and the other had Revo stage 2. Both ran very well and no complaints/issues with them. If I were you I'd go with a tuner that is close to you in case anything does arise. In regards to your VW dealer finding out that your tuned and if your worried it might impact your maintenance plan, it's the risk you take unfortunately. Most tuning companies in SA are very good and have a great reputation so you can't go wrong.
