POLO 1.4 2012 6R START ISSUE IN WARM WEATHER

Post by Newbie6R »

Before you read this, yes I know ... What a topic. It has been asked many times and even on this forum has come up on multiple occasions. What is the solution???

My 2012 Volkswagen Polo 6R 1.4 does not enjoy starting in a warm summers day or when parked in a garage. It cranks and turns over but it does not catch, usually does start by flooring the gas a bit or continuously attempting to turn the key. After this it will start quite easily every time I attempt to start it.

I've read things such as
1) Coolant temperature sensor
2) Wiring
3) Fuel relay

Can someone please shed some light on their solution to the issue? Or is this just imaginary. There is no fault codes or lights on the dash niks.

Please assist!
