Hi all
I'm the proud owner of VW Golf GT 1984 model. Until recently she's been going like a rocket and a great pleasure to drive! But now she seems sluggish despite a recent major service by the VW agents. I'm not happy when she is not happy, any suggestions?
Regards
Nico

Re: VW Golf GT Mk1 1984
Welcome Nico
Post up a rides thread. I'm a great fan of GTs, especially if they are close to stock.
Do you still have the stock 1600 carb engine? what's milage does it have on it?
I'm not sure VW agents would still have expertise to tune old tech engines, I don't think a single car in their current line up uses a carb any more.
